This is great product for those who want easy on and easy off ski racks that are suited for just about any car. I used them on my Audi Allroad, which has roof rails that I don't want to use. I live in Socal and hate installing/removing crossbars on the car, since I don't want to drive around with them on the vehicle. The SeaSucker ski rack was super convenient to use. It's not a very sophisticated product in the sense that it's just a couple of Delrin (plastic) plates that are machined and bolted together; in comparison to an aluminum extrusion by yakima or thule ski rack, with locks and slides etc. Just like all SS products make sure the installation surface and suction pads are clean and positioned on the vehicle appropriately, it is probably the most critical aspect for this product. I had two snowboards in the racks, there isn't enough compression in the rubber to lock/pinch the boards down, but with some strategic positioning of the racks to the board bindings there wasn't any significant movement. I highly recommend a local test drive to dial in your setup. It's a little nerve racking with two boards on top of the vehicle, but trust the process. I can assure you that there was no problem with anything at 110+ mph with crosswinds. I left the ski racks on the vehicle throughout my stay in the mountains with snow and freezing temperatures, suction held the entire time. I did check and pump/maintain the pressure anytime I went out to the vehicle or got gas. All in all 4…

Ordered one of these for my 2023 Civic Type R. I wanted to get a board rack that I could put on any car that I own, and SeaSucker was the only choice. I was a bit nervous to see how the suction cups held up at high speeds, so I ran them without any boards attached, and I forgot they were even up there. There's barely any wind noise noticeable from inside the car, even with the radio off! Today I went on the first 4 hour round trip with two boards attached, and I had no issues whatsoever. The suction cups didn't lose vacuum at all. Perfectly stable the whole time, even in below-freezing temps and highway speeds. Awesome investment!SSeaSucker1 month ago
You might be better off having long end of the boards stick out the back of the rack as opposed to the front. Less lift, resulting in less stress on the front portion of the rack.

It's time to select the right HUSKE Plugs to fit your bike. If you don’t know what front hub your bike has, it’s not that hard to figure out - all you have to do is measure it.
First, get a ruler or tape measure showing millimeters (sorry Americans, the bike world is firmly in the grip of METRIC TYRANNY!).
Step 1: measure the diameter of the hole at the end of your forks - it will be either 9mm, 12mm, 15mm or 20mm.
Step 2: measure the distance between the holes on your fork - it will be either 100mm or 110mm. Now purchase the HUSKE Plugs that match your measurements. There’s a color coded chart below that will help you make sure you’re buying the right set.
